However, there are also hoax that are intentionally made to make the way of thinking about a thing go astray because of being fooled by the news or opinion of the hoax. There are 4 things that have negative impacts, Hoax as a waste of time, issue transfer, public fraud and triggers of social panic.

The first is a waste of time, by seeing hoax on social media can result in losses for individuals and groups in the office where he works. This is because the hoax has a surprising effect thats very influental on the productivity, whats produced decreased little by little or even by a large amount.

Second is as a transfer of issues. On social media or the internet especially internet criminals or commonly called cyber crime, hoax are usually used as facilitators of their crime on the internet or on social media. For example, cyber criminals will send a hoax that contains a system vulnerability in internet services such as gmail and ymail. Then, the criminals will send a link in the form of a link to the users or users who contain suggestions to click the link so that user accounts will be protected from gmail or ymail system vulnerabilities. In fact, in reality the link is a virus that can hijack gmail and ymail users who we usually call hacking.

Next, the last is as a trigger for public panic. Usually this one hoax contains news that stimulates public panic, and the news contains about acts of violence or a certain disaster.

In conclusion, if you feel you have found a news thats has a slightly sensational title or content, its better to look deeper and match it with the originalnews whether it looks different or not so that we can see the same or not.
